This track builds on the recording of birds and in various 'settings' such as East London parkland and a garden in France, to form an accumulating celebration of the space and places we share with the avian world. The track includes an early morning recording of a rural dawn-chorus and finishes with a midnight recording of a Nightingale from a French garden, but as with Rural & Urban Walking 1, the trajectory of the track can be seen to build towards a darker and more menacing 'reality' or dreamscape which relates to the anxiety around the state of our natural world and the species we share our places and spaces with.
