All recorded sounds were recorded using a voice-recorder app on a smartphone in order to embrace the lo-fi, playful and opportune way of listening to and capturing and composing sounds. The album embraces discordancy and utilises incidental sounds made while composing and creating in Logic Pro, as much as recorded tracks and imported stock loops etc. The tracks themselves and the album as a whole can be seen to explore a narrative and trajectory of accumulating atmosphere and distorted sound in search of a celebratory hypnotic sonic state
