Coming Attractions is a compilation album comprising 2 tracks taken from first album HDS1, 2 Source(ry) tracks and a new single Solsticemetery which will only appear on the CD
The title Coming attractions is a homage to Toby & Beverly Conrad's 70's film of the same name featuring Ira Teibel's 1968 first field-recording of the ocean at Coney Island. Having been fascinated by the idea of Teibel's decade long 'environments' series of cassettes exploring psychoacoustics, I am interested in the sonic relation between field-recording of physical places, 'environments, and their manipulation & distortion into psychological soundscapes.
